YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy at In Situ

Updated October 9, 2026

In Situ is an artist studio for uploading 3D artwork, arranging proposals, and sharing them in an explorer. This page explains the information used by the current service.

Accounts and Google sign-in

We use your email address, account identifier, and name to sign you in and connect you to your private library. If you choose Google, Google provides your basic profile information, which can include your name, email address, profile image, and Google account identifier. Supabase processes this information to manage your artist account. In Situ uses your verified identity and name for account access and display.

The Google connection requests only basic sign-in permissions. It does not request access to your Gmail messages, Google Drive files, contacts, or calendar. Google account information is used for authentication and account management, not advertising or sale to third parties.

Your uploads and proposals

We store the artwork and environment files you upload, their technical details, the descriptions and sale information you enter, and your saved scene arrangements. This lets you edit and reuse your work. Your library requires an authenticated artist account.

What viewers can see

New proposals are private. Enabling a share link lets anyone who has that link view the proposal and its included models without signing in. They can forward the link. Publishing a proposal also lists it in the public explorer. Artist names, descriptions, and purchase details included in a shared proposal are visible to its viewers. Your sign-in email is not automatically included.

You can remove a proposal from the public catalog or disable its share link. These changes stop future access through those features; they cannot recall copies or screenshots a viewer has already made.

Services that process information

Supabase provides artist authentication, and Google handles Google sign-in when you choose it. The website is hosted through OpenAI Sites, with Cloudflare database and file storage for uploads and proposals. These providers process the information needed to run their services. Sign-in email delivery is handled through Supabase's configured email service.

Cookies and technical information

Sign-in uses cookies and session tokens to keep you authenticated and complete secure login redirects. Hosting and authentication providers may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, browser information, timestamps, and errors, to operate and secure the service.

Deleting information

You can delete proposals, artworks, and environments from your studio. A model used by a saved proposal must first be removed from that proposal. Deleting a proposal also removes its sharing entry. Account information is retained while your account exists; contact us to request account deletion or help removing your information. Provider logs and backups may follow the providers' retention processes.

Purchase testing

Purchase features are currently a demonstration. In Situ does not take real payments or collect payment-card details in this version.
