Processing benchmark: 2.9% + USD 0.30 on the payment, including separately charged shipping. This assumes a US account and a domestic card; USD alone does not determine the rate.
Taxes, any additional Connect fees, international-card or conversion fees, refunds and disputes are not included. Proceeds are before your materials, fabrication, packing and delivery costs. Shipping included in the artwork price remains part of the 3% commission base.
How the fees work
- What the 3% applies to
- The artwork price. Separately charged shipping and tax are excluded. If you include shipping in your artwork price, the whole listed price is the commission base.
- What the buyer pays
- The listed artwork price plus any shipping and applicable tax. The 3% is paid by the artist; it is not an extra buyer surcharge. Tax is not calculated in the current demo.
- What processing costs
- The USD estimate uses Stripe’s standard US domestic-card benchmark of 2.9% + USD 0.30, applied to the payment including shipping. Your actual rate depends on your account country, payment method, card origin and currency conversion. Other currencies show proceeds before processing. Connect configuration may introduce additional costs.
- What to allow for in your price
- Materials, fabrication, crating, delivery, installation, insurance and your margin. The estimated proceeds shown here are not profit.
- Before payments go live
- Artists will need to connect a payment account. Actual processing and Connect costs, plus refund and dispute terms, will be confirmed before real payments are enabled.
